I use to be a trucker, I slept with this next to the head of my bunk for YEARS, been retired from the road for 3 years and I found my old unit in my “truck-stuff” and I now use it in a box with my C-Cap machine for my sleep apena, just set the two units under a cardboard box with a house transformer (lost the one that came with it years ago) for 12VDC 3. 4 W and oh my what a difference, in a matter of minutes I could feel my sinuses opening up and the air “felt” clean, with out this the C-cap machine in take air filter just doesn’t cut it. you will wake up feeling totally refreshed. if I could give it 10 stars I would, it kept my trucks environment Oder free and it is relatively easy to clean with a can air or a q-tip to wipe off the plate.

I got this at an incredible price and I see these are now selling for more but even at the retail price these are nice units. The ionizer really works well. It does produce any ozone that I can smell even though the specs say it produces within FDA guidelines. There are many types of air filters on the market and I prefer ionizers because replacement filters are a pain and I can tell the ionizers work. The best way to keep a home’s air clean is to have good air flow and open your windows. When you cannot do that or outdoor air is compromised then these units come in handy. I would suggest one for each room of your house. They will be much more effective this way than one expensive unit. You do need to clean them about once a week or every two weeks. The cleaning is not very easy and that is a drawback. I like the fact if I want to I can take it in my car and will work better than any car type air cleaner. I would highly recommend these but I would suggest buying from Heaven fresh at the retail price because they offer a 3 year warranty. You will be lucky to get three years out of these due to the design. Nothing wrong with the design it is just an inherit problem that over time the metal plates and pins wear out. I think for the cost replacing these every two years is very cost effective. Cheaper than replacing filters!! I highly recommend these!

Works great. I put them in all of our bedrooms and they keep the air fresh and clean. Easy to clean.
